F640 SolrShield2

USES: F640 SolrShield2 protects surfaces exposed to the sun's destructive ultraviolet (UV) rays. SolrShield2 increases the service life of roofs, as well as reduces energy costs by lowering inside building temperatures. SolrShield2 is compatible with SEBS, APP, and SBS rubber modified asphalts and will adhere to most surfaces including roofing, wood, metal, glass, and concrete. SolrShield2 forms a metallic, reflective shield that protects and beautifies.
DIRECTIONS: New asphalt surfaces shall be allowed to set up a minimum of 90 days prior to applying F640 SolrShield2. SolrShield2 is friendly to apply, especially in moderate temperatures. Clean gravel, dirt, vegetation, and debris from the application area. Seal any leaking penetrations and repair all surface fissures with M300 RubrMastic and PolyWeb. Prime the surface to be coated along with any uncoated masonry and new metal with M400 RubrPrime. Use a thick nap roller, medium stiff bristle brush, or low pressure spray equipment to apply SolrShield2 directly from the container without diluting. Thoroughly stir SolrShield2 just prior to application, working the aluminum pigment up from the bottom of the container. Apply SolrShield2 at the rate of 1.5 gallons per 100 square feet.
DESCRIPTION: F640 SolrShield2 is a 2.0 lb fibered aluminum coating made from 100% oxidized roofing asphalt. SolrShield2 has been engineered to provide a Class A Fire Rating over most roofing including SEBS built-up roofs. Select raw materials have been formulated to make SolrShield2 a premium aluminum coating. SolrShield2 provides superior elastic performance against thermal shock, the daily expansion and contraction of a roof caused by temperature changes. In addition, the sun's UV rays attack the roof membrane making it brittle and weak, inducing membrane ruptures during thermal shock cycles. SolrShield2 is your best defense against these attacks. With SolrShield2, your roofing installations will perform much longer. SolrShield2 is asbestos free.
SPECIFICATIONS: F640 SolrShield2 exceeds the minimum standards of the American Society for Testing and Materials ASTM D 2824 Type 3. Maximum VOC 500 grams per liter.
PACKAGING: F640 SolrShield2 is available in 1 gallon cans, 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums, and bulk.
