GlasFast plastic plate.
Construction #1a: Steel new, Concrete new and recover. Min 1.4
in. (36 mm) ENRGY 2 (not on steel), min 1.5 in. (38 mm) thick
Fesco-Foam or DuraBoard or min 1 in. (25 mm) Fesco roof insulation is
secured to the deck with fasteners and plates shown in Construction #1
applied at 2.0 ft2 (0.2 m2) max contributory area per fastener. Meets
Class 1-90.
Construction #1b: Steel new, Concrete new and recover. Min 3ž4
in. (19 mm) thick Fesco roof insulation is fastened to the deck with fasteners
and plates shown and applied as in Construction #1a. Meets Class 1-60.
Meets Class 1-90 fastened at a max contributory area per fastener of 1.6
sq ft (1.5 m).
Construction #1c: Steel new, Concrete new and recover. Min 1.3
in. (32 mm), ACFoam-II, ENRGY 2 (not on steel) or Multi-Max is loose laid
on the deck and covered with 1 in. (25 mm) thick Armor Board Regular,
Esgard, Celotex Fiberboard, GAFTEMP Fiberboard, Huebert Fiberboard, Kop-R
Wood Fiber secured to the deck with fasteners and plates shown and applied
as in Construction #1a or covered with 3ž4 in. (19 mm) thick Fesco secured
to the deck with fasteners and plates shown and applied as in Construction
#1b. Meets Class 1-60.
Construction #1d: Steel new, Concrete new and recover. Min 1.3
in. (32 mm), ACFoam-II, ENRGY 2 or Multi-Max is secured to the deck with
fasteners and plates shown and applied as in Construction #1a. Min 3ž4
in. (19 mm) thick Fesco or 1ž2 in. (19 mm) thick Retrofit roof insulation
is then adhered with hot asphalt. Meets Class 1-90.
Construction #1e: Recover. 1 in. (25 mm) thick Fesco, Fields F52
GlasBase adhered to an existing smooth BUR by spot mopping of asphalt
approximately 12 in. (0.3 m) dia. spots, 24 in. (0.6 m) o.c. in
rows staggered. Meets Class 1-60.
Construction #1f: Recover. Base sheet adhered directly to structural
concrete roof deck (meets Class 1-90) or adhered to an existing
smooth BUR with asphalt. Meets Class 1-60/1-90 per existing roof.
Construction #1g: Recover. Base sheet is secured through the existing
roof to the deck with fasteners and metal plates shown in
Construction #1 applied 12 in. (0.3 m) o.c. along the 3 in. (76 mm) side
laps and 18 in. (0.5 m) o.c. down the center of the sheet. Meets Class
1-90.
Construction #1h: Steel new, Concrete new and recover. Min 1.4 in.
(35 mm) ENRGY 2 (not with ENRGY 2 coverboard or steel), min 1.5 in. (38
mm) Fesco Foam or DuraBoard, min 3ž4 in. (19 mm) Fesco is secured to the
deck with fasteners and plates shown in Construction #1a. Min 1.4 in.
(35 mm) ENRGY 2, min 1.5 in. (38 mm) Fesco Foam, min 3ž4 in. (19 mm) Fesco,
min 3ž4 in. (19 mm) Fiber Glass or Base Cap or 1ž2 in. (13 mm) Retro-fit
is then adhered in hot asphalt at 25 lb/sq (1.2 kg/m2). Meets Class 1-90
Construction #1i: Steel new, Concrete new and
recover. Min 1.4 in. (35 mm) ENRGY 2, min 1.5 in. (38 mm) Fesco Foam or
DuraBoard, or min 3ž4 in. (19 mm) Fesco loose laid on deck. Min 1.4 in.
(35 mm) ENRGY 2, or min 1.5 in. (38 mm) Fesco Foam or DuraBoard is placed
with all joints staggered and mechanically fastened through both layers
to the deck as shown in Construction #1. Meets Class 1-90.
Construction #1j: Concrete. Single and Multilayer insulations.
One or more layers min 1.4 in. (35 mm) ENRGY 2, min 1.5 in. (38 mm) Fesco
Foam or DuraBoard, or min 3ž4 in. (19 mm) Fesco, Fiber Glass or Base Cap
or 1ž2 in. (13 mm) Retro-Fit Board, GAFTEMP Permalite Recover, Permalite
Recover Board adhered to the deck with hot asphalt applied at a rate of
30 lb/sq (1.7 kg/m2). Roof cover applied as in Construction #1. Meets
Class 1-90.
Construction #2: Steel new, Concrete new and recover. Min 1.5 in. (38
mm) thick Fesco-Foam or DuraBoard is fastened to the deck with fasteners
and plates shown in Construction #1 applied at a max contributory area
per fastener of 4.0 ft2 (0.4 m2), Meets Class 1-60 or at 2.7 ft2 (0.3
m2) Meets Class 1-90. Roof coverings consist of:
Construction #2a: Base or Ply Sheet; 1 or 2 plies of Fields F56
GlasPly 4 or Fields F54 GlasPly 6; 1 ply of Fields M68 RubrCap. All plies
adhered with hot asphalt.
Construction #2b: 1, 2 or 3 plies of Fields F56 GlasPly 4 or Fields
F54 GlasPly 6; 1 ply of Fields M68 RubrCap. All plies adhered with hot
asphalt.
Construction #3: Steel new, Concrete new and recover. Min 3ž4 in.
(19 mm) thick Fesco roof insulation is fastened to the deck with fasteners
and plates shown in Construction #1 with optional layer of 1.4 in. (35
mm) ENRGY 2, or 1.5 in. (38 mm) Fesco Foam or DuraBoard mopped to Fesco
with asphalt. The Fesco board, Permalite, GAFTEMP Permalite secured at
a max contributory area per fastener of 2.7 ft2 (0.3 m2), Meets Class
1-60 or 2 ft2 (0.2 m2) Meets Class 1-90. Roof coverings as shown in Construction
#2a or #2b.
Construction #3a: Min 3ž4 in. (19 mm) Fesco roof insulation is
mechanically secured to the deck per the Insulation and Fastener Tables
for Approved Glass and Organic Felt Built Up Roofs. Roof coverings (all
3-4 ply only) per Construction #2a or #2b. Meets uplift classification
of mechanically attached insulation.
Construction #4: Steel new, Concrete new and recover. Min 1.3 in.
(32 mm) ENRGY 2 (not on steel) or Multi-Max or ACFoam-II is loose laid
on the deck and covered with 1 in. (25 mm) thick Armor Board Regular,
Esgard, Celotex Fiberboard, GAFTEMP Fiberboard, Huebert Fiberboard, Kop-R
Wood Fiber secured to the deck with fasteners and plates shown and applied
as in Construction #1. Roof coverings as shown in Construction #2a or
#2b. Meets Class 1-90.
Construction #5: Steel new, Concrete new and recover. Min 1.3 in.
(32 mm), ACFoam-II, ENRGY 2 or Multi-Max is loose laid on the deck and
covered with min 3ž4 in. (19 mm) thick Fesco roof insulation secured to
the deck with fasteners and plates shown and applied as in Construction

Construction #6: Steel new, Concrete new and recover. Min 1.3 in.
(32 mm), ACFoam-II, ENRGY 2 or Multi-Max is secured to the deck with fasteners
shown in Construction #1 applied at a max contributory area per fastener
of 3.0 ft2 (0.3 m2), meets Class 1-60 or at 2.0 ft2 (0.2 m2) meets Class
1-90. Min 3ž4 in. (19 mm) thick Fesco, Fiber Glass or Base Cap or 1ž2
in. (19 mm) thick Retrofit roof insulation is then adhered with hot asphalt.
Roof coverings as shown in Constructions #2a or #2b. Meets Class 1-90.
Construction #6a: Steel new, Concrete new and recover. Min 15ž16
in. (24 mm) Fiber Glass or Base Cap secured to the deck with fasteners
shown in Construction #1 applied at a max contributory area per fastener
of 4.0 ft2 (0.4 m2) meets Class 1-60 or 3.2 ft2 0.3 m2) meets Class 1-90.
Roof coverings as shown in Construction #2a or #2b for max three-ply systems
only.
Construction #6b: Steel new, Concrete new and recover. Min 15ž8
in. (41 mm) Fiber Glass or BaseCap secured to the deck with fasteners
shown in Construction #1 applied at a max contributory area per fastener
of 4.0 ft2 (0.4 m2). Meets Class 1-90. Roof coverings as shown in Construction
#2a or #2b.
Construction #6c: Steel new, Concrete new and recover. Min 2 in.
(51 mm) Fiber Glass or Base Cap secured to the deck with fasteners shown
in Construction #1, min 3ž4 in. (19 mm) Fesco, Fiber Glass or Base Cap
or 1ž2 (13 mm) Retro-Fit board, GAFTEMP Permalite Recover, Permalite Recover
Board is then adhered in asphalt. Max contributory area per fastener for
bottom layer of insulation is 5.33 ft2 (0.5 m2) meets Class 1-60 or 4.0
ft2 (0.4 m2) meets Class 1-90. Roof coverings as shown in Construction
#2a or #2b.
Construction #6d: Min 1.4 in. (36 mm) ENRGY 2 (not with ENRGY 2
coverboard on steel deck) is mechanically secured to the deck per the
Insulation and Fastener Tables for Approved Glass and Organic Felt Built
Up Roofs. Min 0.75 in. (38 mm) thick Fesco Board or 1ž2 in. (19mm) thick
Retrofit roof insulation is secured to the insulation with hot asphalt
(all joints are staggered). Roof coverings (all 3-4 ply only) per Construction
#2a or #2b. Meets uplift classification of mechanically attached insulation.
Constructions #7: Steel new, Concrete new and recover. Insulation
systems. Refer to Georgia-Pacific Corp. and Owens-Corning Specialty &
Foam Products listings for insulation system construction details. Roof
coverings as shown in Construction #1, #2a or #2b. Meets Class 1-60/1-90
per insulation system.
Constructions #8: Steel or Wood recover, Concrete new and recover.
Retrofit Board secured to the deck with fasteners and metal plates shown
in Construction #1 or 1ž2 in. (13 mm) thick High Density Roof Fiberboard
secured to the deck with fasteners applied at 2.0 ft2 (0.2 m2) max contributory
area per fastener. Meets Class 1-90 as shown in Construction #1, #2a or
#2b.
Fasteners: 1) Dekfast Stainless Steel with 3 in. Round plate; #12, #14
Dekfast or Omega with Lock or Hex Plate, Dekfast Autoset Plate. 2) Sure-Seal
HP #10, Sure-Seal HP #14, Secure Spike or Concrete Fastener with Sure-Seal
Insulation Plate. 3) AccuTrac or Hextra with Recessed or AccuTrac Plate;

Constructions #10: Gypsum reroof or recover. Secure base sheet
per gypsum roof deck listing. Roof coverings as shown in Construction
#1, #2a or #2b. Meets Class 1-60/1-90 per base sheet securement.
Constructions #11: Cementitious Wood Fiber, Gypsum Reroof. Insulations
Approved for securement with Olympic fasteners as shown above, are secured
to an the deck with one Olympic GTL, Lite-Deck, NTB Magnum or Iron-Lok
or Strap Toggle (gypsum only) applied at 2 ft2 (0.19 m2) max contributory
area per fastener. Roof coverings as shown in Construction #1, #2a or
#2b. Meets Class 1-60 with min 11ž2 in. (38 mm) deck penetration and 1-90
with min 2 in. (51 mm) deck penetration. Toggles Meet Class 1-90.
Constructions #12: Steel, Concrete, Cementitious Wood Fiber, Gypsum.
Insulations referenced above in Constructions #1 through #11 are presecured
to the deck. Base sheet is applied over the insulation and secured to
the deck with Powerlite, Rawl Spike, T-Spike, Lok/Bolt, Drive,Speed-Lock
Toggle Bolt, Zamac Nailin, Rawl #12, #14 or Speed-Lock Toggle Bolt and
Rawl metal plates spaced 24 in. (0.6 m) o.c. along the base sheet 2 in.
(51 mm) overlap and 18 in. (0.5 m) o.c. in 2 rows equally spaced and staggered
in the field of the sheet. Roof coverings as shown in Construction #1,
#2a or #2b. Meets Class 1-60.
Construction #13: Steel. FM Approved 18, 20 or 22 ga. (MSG) (0.0474,
0.0358 or 0.0295 in. [1.2, 0.9 or 0.7 mm]) steel deck placed over 0.25
in. (6 mm) thick structural steel supports having max 6 ft (1.8 m) o.c.
span. The deck is anchored to the min 0.25 in. (6 mm) thick steel supports
with ITW Buildex Teks 4 or Teks 5 fasteners spaced max 6 in. (152 mm)
o.c. at the supports. The deck side laps shall be secured with ITW Buildex
Teks 1 fastener spaced max 30 in. (762 mm) o.c.
Min 2 in. (51 mm) thick ENRGY 2 roof insulation mechanically secured to
the deck with UltraFast fasteners and metal plates applied at 1.45 sq/ft
(0.1 m2) max contributory area per fastener and plate (22 fasteners and
plates per 48 ft (1.22.4 m) board). Retro-Fit board, GAFTEMP
Permalite Recover, Permalite Recover Board adhered to the mechanically
fastened insulation with a fully mopping of hot asphalt at approximate
20-25 lb/sq (1-1.2 kg/m2). Combination of base and ply sheets (max 3 plies)
followed by roof cover (cap sheet) adhered to Retro-Fit by a fully mopping
of hot asphalt at approximate 20-25 lb/sq (1-1.2 kg/m2) for each ply.
Meets Class 1-150.
