Deck: Steel or Structural Concrete Decks (new or recover)
Coating: M800 RubrStar reflective protective coating applied at
3.5 gal/sq (1.4 L/m2)
F600 FlameBloc Coating brush applied at a rate of 1.5 gal/100 ft2 (0.61
L/m2) F700 PowrGard Coating and M700 RubrGard Coating brush applied at
a rate of 3 gal/100 ft2 (1.2 L/m2).
Laps: 4 in. (102 mm) wide side and 6 in. (152 mm) wide end
Application: Adhered with hot asphalt or MT3 or MT4 SEBS RubrPac
Modified Hot Asphalt applied at 25 lb/sq (1.2 kg/m2)
Base Sheet: M62 RubrGlas, F52 GlasBase2
Hail Rating: Class 1-MH when adhered to perlite
Class 1-SH when adhered directly to structural concrete
ASTM E 108: Class A noncombustible decks as follows:
M800 RubrStar at a max roof slope of 1.5 in 12
F600 FlameBloc Coating, F700 PowrGard Coating and M700 RubrGard Coating
at a max roof slope of 1ž2 in 12
F58 GlasCap Sheet at a max roof slope of 2 in 12
Construction #1: M62 RubrGlas is adhered to the substrate shown
in Construction #5, #6, #7, #8 or #9 followed by three plies of M66 RubrGlas2.
The top of M66 RubrGlas 2 is covered with M800 RubrStar or F600 FlameBloc
or F700 PowrGard Coating.
Construction #2: M62 RubrGlas is adhered to the substrate shown
in Construction #5, #6, #7, #8 or #9 followed by two plies of M66 RubrGlas2
and one ply of F58 GlasCap Sheet.
Construction #3: F52 GlasBase2 is adhered to the substrate shown
in Construction #5, #6, #7, #8 or #9 followed by three plies of F54 GlasPly4
or F56 GlasPly6. The top of F54 GlasPly4 or F56 GlasPly6 is covered with
M800 RubrStar or F600 FlameBloc or F700 PowrGard or M700 RubrGard Coating.
Construction #4: F52 GlasBase2 is adhered to the substrate shown
in Construction #5, #6, #7, #8 or #9 followed by two plies of F54 GlasPly4
or F56 GlasPly6 and one ply of F58 GlasCap Sheet.
Construction #5: Steel or Structural Concrete. Min 2 in. (51 mm)
thick FC2S IsoHot insulation is secured to the deck with Olympic #12 (steel
deck) screws or Olympic #14 screws and 3 in. Ribbed Galvalume Plates applied
at 4 ft2 (0.4 m2) max contributory area per fastener. Min 0.75 in. (19
mm) thick Johns Manville Fesco Board is then adhered with hot asphalt
or with MT3 or MT4 RubrPac SEBS Modified Hot Asphalt applied at 25 lb/sq
(1.2 kg/m2). Roof covering is then applied per Construction #1, #2, #3
or #4. Meets Class 1-90.
Construction #6: Steel or Structural Concrete. Min 2 in. (51 mm)
thick FC2S IsoHot insulation is loose laid on the deck and covered with
min 0.75 in. (19 mm) thick Johns Manville Fesco Board. The insulation
is then secured using Olympic #12 (steel deck) screws or Olympic #14 screws
and 3 in. Ribbed Galvalume Plates applied at 2 ft2 (0.2 m2) max contributory
area per fastener. Roof covering is then applied per Construction #1,
#2, #3 or #4. Meets Class 1-90.
Construction #7: Steel or Structural Concrete. Min 2 in. (51 mm)
thick FC2S IsoHot insulation is loose laid on the deck and covered with
0.75 in. (19 mm) thick Johns Manville Fesco Board adhered with hot asphalt
or with MT3 or MT4 RubrPac SEBS Modified Hot Asphalt applied at 25 lb/sq
(1.2 kg/m2). The insulation is then secured using Olympic #12 (steel deck)
screws or Olympic #14 screws and 3 in. Ribbed Galvalume Plates applied
at 4 ft2 (0.4 m2) max contributory area per fastener. Roof covering is
then applied per Construction #1, #2, #3 or #4. Meets Class 1-90.
Construction #8: Structural Concrete: Deck is primed with M400
RubrPrime applied at 1 gal/sq (0.41 L/m2). FC2S IsoHot insulation (optional)
and/or Johns Manville Fesco Board (optional) is adhered to the deck with
hot asphalt or with MT3 or MT4 RubrPac SEBS Modified Hot Asphalt applied
at 25 lb/sq (1.2 kg/m2). Roof covering is then applied per Construction
#1, #2, #3 or #4. Meets Class 1-270.
Construction #9: Recover Construction: 0.75 or 1 (19 or 25 mm)
thick Johns Manville Fesco Board is secured through the existing roof
to the deck using Olympic #12 (steel deck) screws or Olympic #14 screws
and 3 in. Ribbed Galvalume Plates applied at 2 ft2 (0.2 m2) max contributory
area per fastener. Roof covering is then applied per Construction #1,
#2, #3 or #4. Meets Class 1-90.
